Relocation allowance provided (within Australia) Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facility Manager to lead a supportive and high-performing team at a medium-sized residential aged care facility. This permanent role is open to candidates from both clinical (RN) and non-clinical backgrounds, with full clinical governance support available if needed. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staffing, rostering, and budget management. Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care and support to residents, maintaining compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards. Work closely with Clinical Managers and interdisciplinary teams to oversee care planning, clinical governance, and operational workflows. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and quality assurance activities. Foster a positive workplace culture that values collaboration, professional development, and person-centred care. Oversee resident admissions, eligibility, and engagement with families to ensure exceptional service and support. Requirements Proven leadership experience in residential aged care or related healthcare/operational settings within Australia. Clinical background (RN) preferred but not essential; candidates from non-clinical backgrounds with strong leadership experience are encouraged to apply. Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing budgets, staff, and operations in a regulated environment. Commitment to delivering person-centred care and maintaining high-quality standards. Relevant tertiary qualifications (Nursing, Business, or Aged Care leadership) or equivalent experience. Queensland Driver’s Licence and valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or Police Check. In Return Competitive salary $135k–$150k superannuation and salary packaging.
