This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of deep tech innovation, supporting the next wave of high-growth quantum and quantum-adjacent startups. Quantum Australia is building the future of quantum technology. We connect researchers, startups, industry, and investors to turn groundbreaking ideas into globally competitive ventures. As an EiR, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring founders, shaping program delivery, and helping build a thriving ecosystem of quantum entrepreneurs. You’ll work closely with the Quantum Australia team and have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of ventures with global potential. Your key responsibilities will be to: collaborate with the Quantum Australia team and startup founders to deliver tailored support throughout the accelerator program lifecycle mentor and coach founders, sharing your entrepreneurial experience to help them navigate the challenges of building and scaling IP-driven ventures provide strategic advice on product development, go-to-market planning, and investment readiness, drawing on your own startup journey and market insights contribute to the design and facilitation of workshops, founder engagement activities, and program structure to ensure high-impact outcomes for participants connect startups with relevant networks including investors, customers, industry experts, and strategic partners to accelerate their commercialisation pathways support business development efforts, including market analysis, partnership opportunities, and identifying emerging trends in quantum and adjacent technologies. This position may require occasional travel to support program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem building across Australia About you Quantum Australia values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for a n Entrepreneurs in Residence who has: proven experience founding, mentoring, or scaling IP-driven startups, ideally in deep tech or high-growth sectors a successful track record of building ventures to first investment and beyond, with strong insight into startup lifecycle and growth strategy experience coaching and mentoring founders, with the ability to challenge thinking and guide decision-making strong financial acumen including budgeting, market estimation, fundraising, and financial modelling postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as business, technology, or innovation curiosity and passion for emerging technologies, particularly quantum and quantum-adjacent innovation.
