Our CityCare team are currently looking for a Campus Engagement Manager to join the team. This role will be responsible for inspiring future focused community impact across multiple Hillsong campus groups by fostering collaboration and trust with the campuses and co-designing innovative approaches. Working closely with Heads of Campus Support and Campus Pastors, this role significantly contributes to a culture of collaboration, purpose-driven leadership and trust, enabling teams to thrive and deliver lasting, locally relevant change in the communities. Provided tailored approaches and support to reflect the unique needs and opportunities within each campus group, aligning all initiatives with the mission and vision of Hillsong Church. Provide ongoing guidance, feedback and development support to team members, ensuring they are equipped and motivated to lead with purpose. Provide leadership support and direction to Community Workers to ensure effective implementation and delivery of campus-based community impact programs and initiatives. Success is measured by fostering a positive team environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and commitment, demonstrated through regular check-ins, feedback loops, and proactive efforts to address retention risks. Strategic Relationship Management Build and nurture mutual value and long-term alignment through strong, collaborative relationships with Heads of Campus Support (HoCS), Campus Pastors, and other key stakeholders to support the integration of community impact initiatives within campus life. Contribute to alignment and outcomes by building strong relationships, fostering trust and open communication. Empower direct reports to develop and sustain effective campus relationships that are collaborative, scalable, and aligned with strategic priorities. Represent Hillsong Church and CityCare with professionalism and integrity, contributing to a positive reputation and influence in the sector. Facilitate cross-campus collaboration, ensuring knowledge sharing and alignment across all community initiatives. Success is demonstrated through being consistently recognised as a trusted collaborator by Campus Pastors and HoCS, as seen in regular engagement and early involvement in campus-led community impact initiatives and a measurable year-over-year increase in reach and documented outcomes. Strategic Planning & Change Leadership Contribute significantly to the development and implementation of long-term well-defined community impact plans and initiatives that enhance Hillsong Church’s overall strategic direction. Collaborate with Campus Pastors to co-develop 3–5-year community impact strategies for their campus that are contextually relevant, measurable, and aligned with CityCare’s national vision and strategy. Collaborate closely with the CityCare Program Management team to understand community needs, interpret data, and contextualise findings for local strategy development across campuses. Provide support to build local capacity by equipping people and campuses with the tools, training, and support needed to lead change confidently. Lead and support change initiatives, applying sound judgment and problem-solving skills to navigate complexity and co-design new models of campus engagement. Success is demonstrated through the co-development and implementation of campus-specific impact strategies aligned with national priorities, visible adoption of campus-supported approaches to community initiatives, and ongoing growth in local impact capacity tracked through quarterly progress against strategic goals Planning, Budgeting & Resource Stewardship Develop and implement annual plan(s) aligned with strategic priorities, ensuring effective use of resources and timely delivery of initiatives within your campus groups. Exercise sound financial and project management skills, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and risk management within your allocated area. Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adapt plans to ensure continuous improvement and impact. Success is demonstrated through effective budget management supported by accurate forecasting and regular reviews, timely execution of initiatives, and consistent progress toward achieving milestones outlined in the annual plan. Ideally, the successful candidate will bring: A tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Work, Public Policy, Human Services, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications in . social impact, or related areas (desirable). Experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit, church, government, or community services sector. Experience with strategic (long-term) planning. Experience in implementing, and evaluating community programs, including contributing to the development of program logic models, frameworks, and key performance indicators. Experience in developing resources, delivering training, and leading and mentoring (remote) staff and stakeholders. Understanding of sector trends and policy frameworks that impact program development and service delivery. Experience with co-leadership of change management desirable.
