Troocoo is partnering with a leading Queensland Government department to establish an Expression of Interest register for Call Centre Officers (AO3) to assist in the event of any upcoming major natural disasters across Queensland. These roles will play a critical part in supporting Queensland communities during times of crisis by providing information, guidance, and empathy to members of the public affected by natural disasters. Please note: these opportunities are contingent on the occurrence and nature of disaster events, and suitable candidates will be contacted as the need arises. Requirements Availability to commence immediately when required (potential same-day start – notice periods cannot be accommodated) Availability to work on a 24/7 roster (full-time hours during active response periods) Location: Zillmere – onsite parking available and accessible by train This is a full-time, office-based role - Work from home arrangements are not available at this stage. Strong communication and empathy skills , with previous call centre experience or similar required Current National Criminal History Check required (within the last 6 months preferred) Candidates without a current check must be willing to obtain one prior to commencement About the Role Respond to a high volume of public inquiries across multiple communication channels (phone, chatbot, and email) regarding natural disaster events.
