ConsultANZ is seeking a dedicated H&S Advisor to support the Health and Safety team on active civil and water infrastructure projects across Hamilton. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced safety professional to play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving a positive safety culture, and contributing to the successful delivery of major infrastructure works. About You Minimum of 5 years experience in a civil or infrastructure environment within the Health & Safety discipline. A Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety (or a related field). Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the business. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. A proven ability to influence and drive a positive safety culture within teams. Proficient in using administrative systems, developing comprehensive HSE plans, and conducting thorough site audits. Key Responsibilities Promote a strong safety culture and support the implementation of best-practice health and safety systems across active project sites. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards. Provide induction and safety training for employees and subcontractors. Oversee subcontractor safety performance and ensure compliance with project requirements. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and manage potential hazards. Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Work collaboratively with project and site teams to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
