We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join a privately owned business specialising in the supply of building products throughout WA. Based in Canning Vale, this full-time role (8am-4pm, Monday-Friday) is an exciting opportunity for a motivated supply chain professional to manage international supplier relationships, inventory planning, and procurement for a growing organisation. Work closely with senior leadership and the Purchasing Administrator to manage daily and urgent orders. With a structured handover, systems training, and ongoing support, you will take ownership of procurement and make a meaningful impact on inventory management and supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities Oversee purchasing, stock control, and international supplier relationships Use NetSuite to manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and forecast demand Optimise purchasing decisions based on price, quality, and lead times Manage import logistics, shipping schedules, and container arrivals Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure product availability Drive cost efficiencies and lead product improvement initiatives Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and reporting Key Requirements Proven purchasing/procurement experience in a fast-paced environment Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder communication skills Experience with inventory systems (Netstock or similar desirable) Understanding of global supply chains and freight processes Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving This is a long-term, secure role within a growing WA-owned business, with modern facilities and a tight-knit, supportive culture.
