About the Role: We’re seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our Alice Springs team. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with individuals, families, and service providers to assess needs, develop care plans, and deliver psychotherapeutic interventions that enhance wellbeing and quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychotherapeutic assessments and evidence-based interventions. Develop and review personalised treatment and support plans. Provide individual and group therapy (e.g. behavioural, relaxation, biofeedback). Collaborate with families, carers, and service providers. Support clients to access appropriate therapeutic and community services. Monitor progress and maintain high-quality clinical documentation. What You’ll Bring: Qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy (Psychology or Social Work considered). Minimum 2 years’ experience in psychotherapy, counselling, or behavioural support. Demonstrated experience working with people with disability. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Ochre Card, and Police Check (or ability to obtain). NT driver’s licence and ability to travel locally and to remote communities. Strong communication, empathy, and case management skills.
