Temporary Pallet Controller (Team Leader) 6-Month Parental Leave Cover Eastern Creek area | Global Logistics Leader Our client is a world-renowned contract logistics company partnering with major global brands to deliver innovative and reliable warehousing and transport solutions. They are now seeking an experienced Pallet Controller to step into a senior, team-leading role for a 6-month parental leave cover. About the role Reporting to the National Pallet Manager, you will take ownership of site pallet operations while providing day-to-day guidance and support to the broader pallet control team. As the key point of contact for escalations, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and the smooth running of daily operations. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing daily pallet movements and reconciliations across multiple accounts Providing leadership and guidance to other Pallet Controllers on site Investigating and resolving pallet discrepancies, losses, and recovery issues Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders Managing outbound linehaul load accuracy and pallet documentation Liaising with transport partners, warehouse teams, and the National Pallet Manager About you Proven experience in pallet control within a large logistics or transport environment Strong understanding of CHEP/Loscam systems and reconciliation processes Demonstrated leadership or mentoring skills, with the ability to support and guide a small team Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High level of accuracy, accountability, and organisational ability Proficient in Excel and confident working with data and reporting What’s on offer 6-month temporary assignment with a high-performing global business Opportunity to lead and support a collaborative team of Pallet Controllers Fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent systems and processes Competitive hourly rate and a supportive management team This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior pallet control position with a global logistics leader and make an impact while covering a key team member’s parental leave.
