Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist looking to step into a rewarding role with an existing caseload, a supportive team, and the potential for ongoing work? Join Autism Advisory and Support Service (AASS) in a maternity leave cover position, and hit the ground running with immediate clients, full handover, and training provided. This is a contractor position and you will be required to have your own ABN and Certificate of Insurance for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. We are ideally looking for a commitment of 3 days per week, with flexibility to pick up additional days if desired. About the Role: Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based speech therapy. Work with children and young adults with Autism and other disabilities. Support families through a strengths-based, collaborative approach. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on quality care and positive outcomes. Be supported with a smooth transition via a structured handover and onboarding process. About You: Must have tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology. Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. Minimum 2 years post-grad experience, ideally with a paediatric caseload. Experience supporting individuals with Autism and sensory needs. Current driver licence and fully insured vehicle. ABN, Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurances. NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and Provide CPR & First Aid Certification. Team player with a “can-do” attitude and strong organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse families. Commitment to continuous improvement and celebrating success.
