Their products /closure systems are designed to safeguard the environment by ensuring the integrity of the containers. Due to their continued growth, they are now in need of an experienced Forklift Operator / Storeperson for their Penrith facility. Working closely with the Warehouse and Operations teams, they are looking to add someone to the team who is self-motivated and enjoys the day-to-day challenges of a fast-paced environment. The role is straightforward yet critical and involves the pick packing, forklift operation, and unloading of containers. We are looking for a flexible team player who can follow instructions and has attention to detail, good communication skills and a great work attitude. The role is ongoing and will become permanent for the right candidate. Training will be provided on business systems and processes. The role: Packing, labelling, and wrapping of products Tracking material movement using via RF Scanners and barcodes Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility Working with assembly and production processing machines Other duties as required from time to time Essential Requirements: Good mathematical and computer knowledge is required Physically fit and capable of lifting Be able to work as part of a team Previous stores/ warehousing experience Effective communication skills, verbal and written Reliable and punctual Enthusiasm and a desire to take pride in your work Willingness to step up and help others, highlight issues and seek clarification Ability and flexibility to work overtime when required What's in it for you: Great hourly rate of $33.37 ph Super On-site parking Work with a friendly efficient and supportive team Hours are full-time, Monday to Friday. 6.00 am to 14.06 pm Possibility for long term role If you're looking for a role with great pay in a great team, with room for growth and development, we'd encourage you to apply now.
