Female Disability Support Worker – Preston | Immediate Start About the Role: We’re seeking a compassionate and engaging FEMALE Disability Support Worker to support a 68-year-old female client living with Dementia in Preston. The client uses an electronic wheelchair and enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting her local shopping centre, going for walks, and being around nature — especially birds and flowers. She also loves listening to music and being read to. You won’t need to drive the client as all activities are local, and there is no manual handling required. Shift Times (MUST be Available): Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays: 1:30pm – 4:30pm Sundays: 1:30pm – 3:30pm We’re looking for someone who: Is patient, warm, and engaging Enjoys spending time outdoors and in the community Can communicate with empathy and creativity with a non-verbal client Is reliable and committed to providing quality support Certificates & Licences Required: NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check First Aid and CPR Certificate Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent Australian Driver’s Licence and fully insured vehicle Pay Rates (SCHADS Award B2.1 – Casual): Base hourly: $43.23 Afternoon shift (ends 8pm–midnight, Mon–Fri): $47.55 Active night shift (after midnight or before 6am, Mon–Fri): $48.41 Saturday: $60.52 Sunday: $77.81 Public holiday: $95.10 Why Work with Nextt?
