Project Engineer Are you a Project Engineer with a passion for engineering excellence? Our client is an Australian-owned company specialising in creating advanced, integrated solutions for clean room and other sterile environments. Their primary focus is on quality and safety by engineering innovative modular systems. Position Overview: As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of the projects from project kick off and site scoping through to overseeing design, fabrication and installation, then on to commissioning and warranty support, ensuring successful end to end project delivery. The Project Engineer will coordinate all project activities, manage resources and contractors, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Plan, execute and manage installation projects from design through to commissioning, ensuring one time delivery within scope and budget. Develop cost reduction design changes and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency. Maintain quality standards, conduct inspections and ensure regulatory compliance across all project phases. Manage project budgets, costings, milestone payments and project profitability analysis. Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, fabrication partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met in a timely manner. Create and maintain technical drawings, procedures and fabrication standards. Qualifications and experience: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in project engineering or construction management. Ability to review technical drawings and specifications, with experience using 3D modelling software being advantageous. Understanding of Australian building codes, engineering regulations and industry standards. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Previous experience working on HVAC projects is advantageous.
