An exciting opportunity exists for an Environmental Education Coordinator to join the team. The Environmental Education Coordinator leads the development and delivery ecological education and community engagement in accordance with the College's strategic goals. This position oversees the implementation of the EcoClassroom environmental education program, sustainability initiatives, and the care of flora and fauna within the EcoSanctuary in line with management plans and legislative requirements. The position will also manage the Environmental Team, support the creation of a sustainable business plan, and foster strong relationships with staff, community organisations, and government bodies. This role also includes the management of three native species (one endangered), in a semi wild environment, for education programs and caring for them. The Coordinator will liaise and develop meaningful relationships with College staff, community groups, non-government and government agencies. The Coordinator will develop and implement the College's EcoClassroom Strategic Plan, Management Plan, and Sustainability Policy in line with the six principles of the Lutheran Education Earth Care Charter.
