As a Capital Linen Service (CLS) Driver you will play an integral role in delivering clean linen and picking up soiled linen from our clients throughout Canberra and the surrounding region to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: Drive with Care: Operate vehicles safely, following all road rules, and perform vehicle safety checks. Customer-Facing Service: Interact directly with customers, offering friendly, reliable, and safe linen delivery and collection. Team Collaboration: Work closely with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries, communicate effectively, and identify opportunities for improvement. Hands-On Work: Load and unload trucks with clean and soiled linen. Transport linen to designated customer areas and assist in repacking and rotating stock to CLS standards. Work Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, wear proper uniforms and protective gear, and handle all tasks with care and attention to safety. What You Require: Reliable Driver: Hold Medium Rigid (MR) license with a clean driver license history and be able to safely operate medium sized trucks. Customer Service Expertise: Experience in a customer service role, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships. Industrial Delivery Experience: Prior experience in industrial settings like laundry services, healthcare, or aged care is highly valued. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and work with linen over the course of your day. Flexibility: Willingness to work staggered hours, including weekends, public holidays, and overtime when necessary.
