Urgent requirement of Senior MS SQL Developer - Contract - Melbourne Requirements 10 -15 Year, extensive development experience in MS SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014/2016/2019/2022 instance. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, resource contentions, connectivity issues, security issues etc. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, Profiler, SSMS, DMVs, system procedures and other troubleshooting tools to analyze and tune databases and SQL queries for optimal efficiency. Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, how statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively. SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) and developing/automating database maintenance scripts Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server operating systems with an emphasis on maintaining large data volumes (> 4 TB) on multi-disk arrays. Knowledge of Microsoft reporting services and developing custom reports SSRS. Designing and developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and SSAS systems and Active Directory operation.
