Locations: MCEC and Melbourne Showgrounds $35.00 per hour (Flat Rate) Casual hours Work for a logistics company that services the event and exhibition industry. Based either at MCEC or Melbourne Showgrounds, this role is perfect for you if you aren't looking for full time work and happy to work when events are on. As a high-volume forklift driver, you will be responsible for unloading and loading trucks, as well as delivering freight to stands within exhibition halls. The spotter will assist you in navigating the congested and busy halls in a safe and timely manner. Must have valid forklift licence and have been driving for 12 months, working within logistics or worked in tight areas and deadline driven. Once you have completed the standard safety inductions, you will be responsible for providing our clients with a high standard of safety and care. You will have: A valid forklift licence A positive attitude and motivation Be available on weekends Ability to work anonymously and in a team environment This role is casual and ad-hoc . It can suit your lifestyle with 2-4 shifts per week when there is an event, paying industry award rates (the Exhibition industry award).
