We support parents and family members to make decisions together, work through separation with less conflict, and focus on children’s wellbeing. Your role, your impact As Coordinator Carer Supports, you will play a vital role in strengthening families and supporting carers. Your work will help families navigate complex situations, access the right services, and build positive futures for children and carers alike. Key responsibilities: Facilitate referrals to counsellors, mediators, and service providers to strengthen family relationships. Provide education and guidance on topics such as wills, trusts, and estate planning through one-on-one meetings and community forums. Ensure timely service referrals so families receive support within agreed timeframes. Assist with conflict resolution by connecting families with suitable services. Assess and address family needs using a person-centred approach. Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Engage with stakeholders and build strong relationships with service providers and carer services across Victoria. Support continuous improvement by gathering feedback and contributing to service development. Promote a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. Who we’re looking for Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Studies or equivalent. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in working with people with disabilities and their families. Current state-based driver’s license. What will make you stand out Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its impact on carers. Expertise in the policy and funding environment of Disability and Community Services. Experience managing brokerage budgets and financial processes.
