Job Description Full Time The Food Microbiologist is responsible for performing analytical methods, operating equipment/analytical instruments, and managing sample registration, testing and confirmation. The Food Microbiologist may have a supervisory role over an area within the laboratory, a particular suite of testing or provide general guidance to the Laboratory Technicians in the laboratory. The position will support method development, laboratory optimisation and have a major contribution to the objectives of the laboratory including PCR Setup and reporting. To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to structure thoughts deliberately, logically and directly. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Good laboratory skills and practices.
