ProQuest Recruitment is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a large, fast-paced distribution centre located in Prestons . This is a hands-on and varied role where you will be involved in the full warehouse process from receiving through to despatch . You will operate both high reach and counterbalance forklifts , use RF scanners , complete paper pick slips , and carry out general warehouse duties. Day Shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday Pay Rate: $47.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Operate counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks Operate high reach forklift for replenishment, putaways and picking Complete RF scanning and paper pick order processing Manual handling and palletising Work across warehouse departments including receiving and despatch About You High reach forklift experience (Toyota preferred) Strong warehousing experience across receiving, pick/pack, putaways and despatch Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working both on the forklift and on the floor Good communication skills and able to work well in a team Flexible with start/finish times when workloads increase What's On Offer $47.00 per hour Ongoing role with potential for permanency Stable, supportive team environment Pre-employment checks apply: National Police Check, Drug & Alcohol Test and Functional Assessment.
