Skill Hire are seeking experienced Irrigation Fitters / Field Pump Service Technicians for a valuable client based in Albany, W.A. Full-time or casual contracts are available with immediate starts. Key Responsibilities: Installation and maintenance of pumping systems (priority focus) Auto management systems Client management and service delivery Nature of Business: Specialist irrigation services supporting agricultural clients including farmers and piggeries. Diverse job types and locations, with a strong service focus. Candidate Criteria: Background in irrigation and pumping systems Trade-qualified plumbers or electricians preferred Strong servicing and problem-solving skills Ability to install and troubleshoot equipment Irrigation is non-regulated - think jigsaw puzzle assembly (same parts, same logic) Ideal Profile: Candidates with 5 years in pumping/electrical Open to those with 1-2 years experience or even green starters with the right mindset Manual gearbox license required White Card and CPR certification Good understanding of rural clients (Australian farmers - old school) Malleable and eager to learn Success Indicators: Ability to handle a new job each day during service season Boar pump servicing and installations Strong problem-solving and adaptability to equipment challenges Support & Infrastructure: Variety of jobs and locations FIFO setup possible depending on work won Team of 12 fitters currently, 20 staff total Young team (mid to late twenties), closely knit Fitters typically bring their own tools (preferred but not required) Company vehicle (ute) provided - fuel covered, limited private use No housing provided, but assistance with local options possible Interested? - Please click APPLY and send through your most up to date resume or call our office 08 6255 6435 during weekdays to discuss further.
