We’re looking for a customer-focused Pet Transport Sales Consultant to join our team. In this remote role, you’ll be the friendly voice helping pet owners arrange safe, stress-free travel for their furry family members - providing reassurance and exceptional service every step of the way. This is a full-time remote role , with rostered shifts falling Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm AEST/AEDT , and every third Saturday from 10am to 2pm . The successful applicant must be available to work within these hours. What You’ll Do Respond promptly and professionally to inbound pet transport enquiries via website, email, and phone. Proactively follow up with customers to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, providing clear communication and attentive service at every step. Prepare detailed and accurate quotes and itineraries for customers including road, air freight and boarding services, Deliver an exceptional customer experience with empathy and understanding, ensuring each pet’s welfare is the top priority. Coordinate bookings, liaise with relevant operational team members, and manage follow-ups to ensure every journey runs seamlessly. Maintain accurate records and support process improvements to enhance service delivery. What You’ll Bring 3 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or a similar consultative role within a fast-paced environment. Experience in animal care, travel, or logistics industries is highly regarded but not essential. Strong communication and relationship-building skills - both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once. Confidence using multiple software systems and digital communication tools, and the ability to pick up new software with ease. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
