Description DP World is looking for a passionate and experienced HR Business Partner to help shape the people experience at our Fremantle terminal, supporting a safe, high-performing, and engaged workforce. In this role, you will be both strategic and hands-on, partnering with terminal leaders and the VP-People to deliver people initiatives that drive performance, build capability, and strengthen our culture. You will play a key part in aligning national and regional HR strategies with local business needs, ensuring our people agenda truly supports operational success. Key Accountabilities: Lead the strategic delivery of the employee lifecycle for Fremantle Port, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and offboarding processes are aligned with operational goals and support a high-performing, safety-focused, and agile workforce Ensure effective alignment of HR strategies and initiatives as defined by DP World Australia (DPWA) and the APAC Regional HR team with local business objectives and operational needs. Facilitate key people processes within the business unit, such as performance reviews, talent management, and succession planning, in collaboration with functional leaders. Develop, monitor, and analyse critical HR metrics and workforce data to support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement across business units. Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks, promoting adherence to internal standards and external legislative requirements. Actively contribute to national HR projects and cross-functional initiatives that support the broader DPWA business, driving innovation and consistency in HR service delivery. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPD or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 5 plus years of HR business partnering experience driving strategic partnerships with business leaders to shape and execute impactful people strategies. Strong leadership in managing HR projects, driving change, and leading cross-functional initiatives. Commercial mindset with the ability to align HR strategies to business performance and operational goals. Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning, with the ability to coach and influence at all levels. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical ability to use HR data for informed decision-making. Experience in logistics, ports, supply chain, or industrial sectors is a plus.
