They specialise in hospitals, schools, and office buildings amongst many other commercial properties all across Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing sales team and make an immediate impact through new business generation. The Role You'll focus primarily on business development activities, with full support from senior leadership as you build your pipeline and close deals. Day-to-day, you'll be: Cold calling, door knocking, and networking to generate qualified leads Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities across Melbourne Conducting site visits and initial client meetings Supporting the tendering process and gathering client requirements Following up on warm leads and moving opportunities through the pipeline Maintaining accurate records in Zoho CRM Building relationships with facility managers and decision-makers in hospitals, schools, and office buildings Attending industry networking events to expand your contact base What You Need: 2-3 years of sales or business development experience (commercial cleaning industry preferred) Proven ability to prospect and generate new leads consistently Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with a genuine hunter mentality Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline Full driver's license and willingness to travel across Melbourne Highly advantageous: Existing contacts or network in Melbourne's commercial cleaning sector Prior experience as a commercial cleaner (understanding the service from the ground up) Experience with CRM systems (they use Zoho) Understanding of tendering and contract processes
