The Role: This is a full time permanent role based in the Norwest office Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm reporting to the Permits and Construction Administration Manager who has been with the business for more than 20 years. You will be responsible for managing the end to end permit process for new development projects - duties to include: Managing the process of obtaining building permits, development approvals and other required permits from councils and regulatory agencies Preparing and submitting permit application packages with accurate and compliant documentation Staying updated on local building codes, zoning and development requirements Collaborating with architects, consultants and internal project teams to ensure council guidelines are met Maintaining organised records of applications, correspondence and approvals Monitoring the progress of applications and proactively addressing delays Liaising with regulatory bodies and providing timely responses to inquiries Representing the business at council meetings or hearings when required Supporting corrective actions to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle About You: To be successful in this role you will bring: Minimum 3 years experience in a residential pre construction or similar compliance focused position Confident interpreting plans and communicating with technical stakeholders Knowledge of Australian building regulations and development approval processes Highly organised with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Professional communicator who is well spoken, clear and customer focused Able to work both independently and collaboratively within established processes Why Join: This is an opportunity to secure a role with a respected, stable and privately owned business that continues to grow.
