This is a permanent role starting Term 1, 2026 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan and deliver lessons that align with curriculum standards across multiple subject areas. • Create engaging learning environments by managing classroom resources and setups. • Incorporate creative activities like art, music, and sports to support student development. • Maintain classroom discipline and foster a respectful, focused atmosphere. • Supervise students during lessons and breaks to ensure safety and well-being. • Assess student progress through exams, assignments, and regular feedback. • Support students’ emotional and social needs, addressing concerns as they arise. • Engage with parents and guardians during meetings and events to discuss student development. • Participate in school activities such as excursions, concerts, and sporting events. • Commit to professional development and may take on pastoral care roles as needed.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Proven experience in teaching at the primary school level, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements • Demonstrated ability to teach a wide range of subjects effectively and engage students with diverse learning needs. • Excellent classroom management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and disciplined learning environment. • Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with the ability to monitor and report on student progress accurately. • Experience in organising and supervising school activities and events. • Proficient in using educational technologies and creative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience. QUALIFICATIONS: • A recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent. • Accreditation with NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority).
