The Project Coordinator will support GDLS-A Program and Project Manager(s) with the following: Plan, budget, schedule work packages Manage Commonwealth RFQs throughout the Sales lifecycle including all systems aspects of the AoP and AoC process Administer, coordinate and prepare responses and reports to the Commonwealth and Commercial customers as required Ensure milestones are achieved, project deliverables are met and metrics are maintained Administer, coordinate and compile bid and tender responses in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and specific contract requirements General Responsibilities Work closely with the Program Manager and Project Manager(s) to develop a strong working relationship with the Commonwealth's CA01 Heavy Armour Systems and CA02 ASLAV Armoured Fighting Vehicles Fleet Managers and other Customer’s Programs and teams. Develop strong working relationships with other GDLS International Programs – Australia and key POCs, in particular key leadership personnel Undertake a range of project or program support responsibilities to meet business objective needs and outcomes Assist in the preparation of periodic progress reporting against schedule, risk and budget including estimate at completion Assist in the preparation of project plans and data deliverables to the customer in accordance with contract schedules Conduct research and analysis to assist in the development of solutions to a range of issues relating to the business environment Undertake training across commercial and project disciplines to grow capability as required Analyse data sets and defence sector initiatives to identify sales growth and productivity opportunities Utilise discipline related knowledge to provide informed customer service, advice and solutions to internal and external stakeholders Support supplier and customer meetings as required, and in time, lead these engagements Preparation of correspondence, documents and meeting minutes Maintain filing and retrieval system for documentation and correspondence Data collation, report preparation, and development and maintenance of information registers Maintain log for project action items Maintain Project Risk Register Enter sales orders, quotes, and service requests into corporate systems Support the preparation of GDLS-A proposals (ROMs, budgetary estimates, spares pricing, CCPs etc.) in response to customer requests or agreed unsolicited proposals Present to Leadership and Customers status of deliverables and metrics where required. Assist in the development and negotiation of contract and sub-contract agreements Ensure compliance with General Dynamics, customer and supplier confidentiality and security requirements. Book Manage and co-ordinate the preparation of bids and tenders Lead S&Q preparation, AoP and AoC activities Comply with General Dynamics Corporate Trade Compliance Policies and applicable departmental Import/Export regulations. Comply with all GDLS-A Policies and Procedures, Processes and Work Instructions, and Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Business or Commerce Ability to collaborate with the Commonwealth, suppliers and internal team members Maintain a logical approach in the analysis of data Ability to show innovation and resourcefulness in the solution of problems Good understanding of Costing and Finance Principles Ability to think critically and methodically, and provide solutions Good ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate business solutions Enthusiastic attitude and prepared to learn and adapt to new environments Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Project, Powerpoint and Excel Good communication and organizational skills Ability to show initiative and to organise, plan and action multiple tasks Ability to gain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance Project Management experience with strong communication, and leadership skills (desirable) Training and Qualifications in Finance or equivalent industry experience (desirable) Intermediate or Advanced skills in MS Word and MS Excel (desirable) Basic understanding of Trade Compliance.
