Workfast is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator to join our client’s precast manufacturing operations team in Queanbeyan . Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per annum Superannuation Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Location: Queanbeyan, NSW You’ll be responsible for conducting pre-pour and post-pour inspections, verifying compliance with design and technical specifications, managing quality control systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. What you get Competitive salary package (up to $100,000 Super) Permanent full-time position with immediate start Monday to Friday role based in Queanbeyan, NSW Work with an industry leader in precast concrete manufacturing Supportive, safety-focused team environment Opportunities for career growth, training, and professional development What you need Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within manufacturing or similar environment Strong understanding of HSEQ principles and compliance standards Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ITPs, and specifications Experience conducting inspections, audits, and non-conformance management Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HSEQ software (e.g. Skytrust) advantageous Diploma qualification in Quality or a related discipline Auditing qualifications or willingness to obtain Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Current, unrestricted Driver’s Licence and full Australian working rights Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test What you will be doing Conducting pre-pour and post-pour inspections to ensure product compliance and quality Checking reinforcement steel, embedded items, and concrete mix design Recording and verifying as-built data and ensuring accurate labelling of approved products Raising and managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assisting with root cause analysis Monitoring quality control systems and assisting with internal/external audits Supporting production teams to ensure quality objectives and corrective actions are achieved Maintaining QA documentation and assisting with reporting and performance analysis Actively promoting safe work practices and participating in WHS and environmental initiatives Contributing to ongoing operational and process improvements About us Workfast is a labour hire company working with some of Australia’s largest and leading building companies.
