Our client is an established and respected Australian apparel brand is seeking an experienced Garment Technician / Quality Control Specialist to join their team. About the Role This is a Geelong-based role in a collaborative environment with access to experienced industry professionals for support and development. Develop and complete all technical aspects of product tech packs and specifications. Assess and measure incoming fit and PP supplier samples. Lead fit sessions and communicate required changes or approvals to suppliers. Menswear apparel & Uniforms. Establish and maintain block fits for key products. Ensure critical path timelines are met and resolve any roadblocks. Review and test fabrics, components, patterns, and measurements to maintain quality standards. Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve fabric and style queries. Skills & Experience 2–5 years’ experience as a Garment Technician or Quality Control Coordinator (qualifications preferred). Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and relevant techniques. Patternmaking experience advantageous. Proficiency in MS Excel. Familiarity with AS/NZ standards, Arpansa, and quality assurance processes. Proven experience working with offshore or local suppliers. Attributes Excellent time management to meet critical path deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
