Job Description About the Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Disability Inclusion Strategy Partner to lead the development and delivery of our whole-of-organisation disability access and inclusion strategy. In this important role, you will facilitate the co-design of actions, drive capability building, and oversee reporting frameworks that support our commitment to disability inclusion. You’ll bring deep expertise and sound judgement to identify strategic risks and opportunities, ensuring our approach to disability inclusion is both progressive and sustainable. To achieve our strategic aims you will collaborate closely with Student Life and other key stakeholders across the university. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of the University’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project teams to drive inclusive initiatives and meet key milestones. Contribute to broader inclusion frameworks such as Athena Swan, relevant to disability inclusion. Design and implement capability building initiatives to enhance disability inclusion across the University. Review and improve policies, procedures, and reporting related to disability access and inclusion. Support staff networks and ensure compliance with relevant funding and reporting requirements. Provide high level secretarial support to the Disability Advisory Committee. About you Hold postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, and extensive experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. An understanding of disability, gained through personal experience or through close connection with individuals with disability, is highly valued in this role. Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check. What we can offer This is fixed term opportunity for two years based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. HEW 8 Salary – Base range - $113,713.03 - $127,923.91 17% super. Full package range - $133,044.25 - $149,670.98.
