In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and delivering projects, serving as the solution architect for Sourcing and Procurement solutions, and supervising a team of SAP functional consultants. The position requires technical knowledge, strategic planning, and leadership skills to deliver solutions in a dynamic environment. The role will also involve communication with senior internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a crucial role by: Practise Development: Actively contribute to the development of SAP methodologies, accelerators, and reusable assets. Mentor consultants and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Identify emerging SAP technologies and lead internal capability development. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a growing team of SAP functional consultants, assigning tasks, managing capacity, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Project Leadership : Manage SAP Sourcing & Procurement related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and system enhancements, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders. Solution Design & Configuration: As the solution architect you will oversee the integrity and excellence of proposed solutions; lead the configuration, customization, and enhancement of SAP solutions to meet client needs. Business Process Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams to analyse existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend best practices using SAP capabilities to enhance efficiency and compliance. Integration Management : Ensure seamless integration of SAP Sourcing & Procurement solutions with other modules (e.g., FI, CO, EAM) and external systems, maintaining data integrity and consistency. Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a liaison between business units and IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for SAP Sourcing & Procurement issues and system troubleshooting. Training & Documentation : Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures. Innovation : Stay updated on SAP advancements (e.g. SAP Joule) and recommend upgrades or new functionalities to enhance financial operations. How are you Extraordinary?
