Labourers North Sydney Council administers the North Sydney local government area on Sydney’s picturesque lower North Shore. Our 400 employees look after 77,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands and a bustling CBD. The role We currently have opportunities for reliable and hard-working Labourers to join our Parks and Reserves team. This position is responsible for maintaining Council’s open space areas and high-profile grounds and reserves. Duties may include mowing, planting, irrigation, weed identification and control, laying turf, rubbish removal, mulching, pruning, watering, machinery operation and other general duties as required. The ideal candidate will show an interest in garden maintenance, have labouring experience, be a team player and is willing to get stuck into the job at hand. Why work at North Sydney Council?
