To support additional project growth, we are seeking experienced FIFO Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter (Prime Movers, Trailers & Earthmoving Equipment) to join the team on 2/1 roster at our mine new site operations at Leonora/Mt Morgan. You will join existing crews of Leading Hands, Heavy Diesel Mechanics/Fitters, Auto-Electricians, Boilermakers, Apprentice Fitters and a team of Service Personnel & Trades Assistants. We cover one flight per swing from a wide range of locations, including: Sydney / Newcastle / Melbourne / Hobart / Launceston / Burnie / Darwin / Cairns / Brisbane / Townsville, New Zealand (capital cities), Bali, Thailand and Manila. Job Offerings : Permanent full-time Salary of $148,200 - $158,080 plus superannuation on all hours worked 2/1 - 2 weeks days/1 week nights 2/1 roster - One way flight paid Weekly pay Duties & Responsibilities : Focus on maintaining our Kenworth Fleet and Trailers whilst working on fitting duties on our Earthmoving Equipment (Komatsu), Service Trucks, LV's and other equipment as required. Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety. Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members. Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork. You will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of : Kenworth C509, C510 and T909; Bruce Rock, Roadwest & Boomerang Trailers; Komatsu WA500/600 & 900 Wheel Loaders; Komatsu GD655 Graders; Service Trucks; Toyota Light Vehicles. To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess or able to obtain the following : Prior experience in maintaining and servicing Kenworth Prime Movers & Trailers with Earthmoving Equipment in a Mining/Civil environment, especially with Loaders & Graders. Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification (Australian recognised). Air Conditioning qualification. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical. National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one.
