About the opportunity This is a newly created technical position focused on developing, testing, and launching flotation reagents for the mining industry. You will set up and manage the flotation testing systems in Perth, conduct lab work and field trials, and collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support new business growth. In this role, you will: Establish and manage flotation lab systems and protocols Develop and execute market entry strategies for new reagents Conduct customer trials and support tender processes Collaborate with the global R&D team to refine and introduce new products Contribute to commercial growth through technical and strategic excellence This dynamic position offers the opportunity to influence both product and market development. Over time, there is potential to build a larger team and engage with international subsidiaries as the portfolio expands. About you You will be an experienced chemical engineer or metallurgist with a background in flotation within the mining sector. You are comfortable working independently, applying technical insight to practical challenges, and collaborating across commercial and technical functions. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy Proven experience with flotation systems and reagents Strong understanding of mineral processing within mining operations Ability to collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver trials and solutions A valid driver's licence The ability to obtain a police clearance (required for onboarding) Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer site visits What's on offer You will join an organisation at a pivotal time in its development, where your technical input directly shapes future market direction.
