About Our Client: One of Australia’s leading privately-owned manufacturers and distributors of Industrial Ducting, Mine Ventilation, PVC Pipe and Steel Reinforcing solutions, is seeking a skilled Plastics Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting and troubleshooting machinery used in the manufacture of PVC pipe and related plastic products, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production. Key Responsibilities : Set up, operate, adjust and troubleshoot PVC extrusion lines Fabricate and assemble PVC products to specifications, interpreting technical drawings and standards. Conduct quality testing to Australian Standards and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ACRS. Meet daily production targets, complete production reports and follow OH&S procedures. Actively contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Skills and experience required: Minimum 3 years’ machine operating experience in plastics or PVC manufacturing (mechanical background preferable). Current forklift licence Strong literacy, numeracy, time management and problem-solving skills.
