This is a fixed term full time role until 30 June 2026.About the Role The Grants and Procurement Services team is working to implement a technology solution built on Salesforce that will manage the Department of Education's grants to external providers. The Senior Project Advisor will play a pivotal role in delivering this solution by working across the organisation, in collaboration with Information Management and Technology Division and the chosen supplier. The role will perform project management / business analysis and support the development of a grants management system by: Identifying, documenting, reviewing and transforming existing business processes and requirements by liaising with internal stakeholders to understand the business' needs develop high quality project documentation including plans, presentations and briefs lead change management among grant managers, including training preparation and delivery track and report on project progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes. Attributes To succeed in this role, you will need excellent business analysis, project implementation and/or change management skills, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, strong conceptual and analytical ability and highly developed problem-solving skills. You must also be responsive and committed to delivering timely high-quality work. An applicant that can demonstrate experience that meets the VPS5.2 grade descriptors may be appointed at that level on engagement. Desirable Qualifications and Experience Essential: Tertiary qualification in a related field. Essential: Recent experience in one of either business analysis, project management or change management. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
