Duration: Temporary up to 2 years Location: Bathurst or Sydney Grade: 5/6 ($99,938 - $110,271 Super) This Assistant Project Officer role sits within the Spatial Technology team of Spatial Services. Spatial Technology are responsible for providing, developing and supporting IT-related services to Spatial Services’ other business units, customers and to the public of NSW. The team support a wide range of services both on-premises and within AWS Cloud environments. As an Assistant Project Officer you will undertake a range of research, analysis, reporting and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of IT-related projects, in-line with established project plans and objectives. The role is a key contact point between the Spatial Technology team and its stakeholders, as well as providing the primary administrative support to the Spatial Technology management team. The ideal candidate will have: A demonstrated ability to assist in managing projects to a high quality and ensuring deadlines are met. The ability to flexibly adapt within a changing environment, through multi-tasking, prioritisation of competing requests and by applying an innovative and analytical mindset. Excellent communication and engagement skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as a part of a dynamic team. A customer focused mindset: using effective planning, organisational, research and problem-solving skills to provide quality service to the community, internal and external customers.
