Senior Operations Coordinator – Defence Parabellum International Defence is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Operations Coordinator to support high-impact Defence projects. About the Role: As the Senior Operations Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of project and workforce coordination. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the projects and mobilising our workforce across various worksites. You’ll work closely with Operations, HR, Finance, HSE and site teams to ensure our people and processes are aligned, efficient, and effective. This is a dynamic, hands-on position that combines office-based coordination at our Naval Base office with site coverage duties. You’ll step into site-based roles as needed to support workforce continuity. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance office and field responsibilities will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination Coordinate all aspects of assigned projects from start to finish. Collaborate with client to ensure consistent delivery of services on site. Ensure full compliance and workforce coverage across sites. Track qualifications, certifications, and site access requirements for compliance. Provide site coverage as required. Workforce Planning & Rostering Roster management and scheduling coordination, ensuring adequate workforce coverage across all sites. Monitor resource availability and adjust rosters for leave, shift changes, or site priorities. Manage ongoing and shutdown rosters in line with project schedules. Provide on-site coverage when required to maintain operational continuity. Personnel & Stakeholder Engagement Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders, site teams, and clients. Support performance monitoring, training, PPE, and leave scheduling/coverage. Systems & Compliance Use mobilisation and project coordination systems to track qualifications and workforce data. Ensure site/client requirements are met and escalate issues where required. Timesheets & Payroll Review and process timesheets timely and accurately. Provide reporting and keep records up to date. What We’re Looking For: 5 years' experience in workforce mobilisation or project coordination Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (desirable) PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility Enter and Work in Confined Spaces Advanced First Aid Construction White Card Previous Defence experience or knowledge is desirable.
