ABOUT THE ROLE The Partnerships Manager role sits within a close-knit team of six, responsible for delivering all commercial partnership rights and benefits across a diverse sponsorship portfolio. Join a leading Australian sporting organisation as a Partnerships Manager, managing major brand relationships and delivering standout sponsorship activations and events. You’ll manage relationships with five to six major partners across industries such as telecommunications, insurance, or retail, acting as the conduit between sponsors and internal departments. From signage and hospitality to talent access and large-scale event activations, you’ll ensure every partner’s experience exceeds expectations. You’ll also identify new opportunities for growth and renewal, creating bespoke proposals that bring sponsorships to life. DUTIES Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with commercial partners Manage the delivery of all contractual benefits and sponsorship activations Collaborate with internal teams to bring campaigns, signage, and events to life Identify and pursue upsell opportunities with existing partners Support the delivery of major sporting events throughout the season Measure and evaluate partnership performance to ensure commercial success SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 3–5 years’ experience in partnerships, sponsorship, marketing or account management (sports, agency or brand environment preferred) Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects Strong communication, relationship management and negotiation skills Commercially minded with experience developing proposals and upsell opportunities Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confident working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Willingness to attend key events (including weekends during finals, with time in lieu provided) Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a related field preferred BENEFITS $100K–$110K package (depending on experience) Exposure to major Australian sporting events and global brand partnerships Collaborative, down-to-earth and passionate team culture Work with high-profile sponsors across multiple industries Time in lieu for event work and access to exciting on-site activations OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS At Lotus People, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
