About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Leading Hand to join a professional and growing team. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of site operations , working closely with supervisors and crews to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This position suits a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work and leads by example. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily site activities across various civil and construction projects. Lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals within deadlines and budgets. Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency at all times. Liaise with clients, customers, and members of the public in a professional manner. Monitor and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety requirements. Assist with resource planning, scheduling, and reporting. Identify and resolve on-site challenges through proactive problem-solving. Support a positive and collaborative site culture. Skills & Experience Proven experience in civil construction projects such as road maintenance, drainage, or infrastructure works . Current MR Licence (minimum) - HR Licence highly regarded. White Card (General Construction Induction). Previous experience in a Leading Hand or senior trades role , supported by reliable references . Strong commitment to workplace safety and promoting a positive safety culture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to engage professionally with clients and the public. Attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
