About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Audio Visual systems integration company that specializes in delivering cutting-edge AV solutions across commercial, corporate, and high-end residential sectors. They are seeking an experienced Senior AV Programmer to join their growing technical team in a lead capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of complex AV programming projects, mentor junior team members, and work with premium Crestron control systems on high-profile installations. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of sophisticated Crestron control systems (NVX, DM, DigitalMedia, and control processors) Develop and implement custom user interfaces using Crestron VTPro-e, CH5, and XPanel Oversee project programming from initial design through to final commissioning and client handover Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior programmers and technicians Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver tailored AV solutions Troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration issues Create comprehensive system documentation and programming standards Stay current with emerging AV technologies and Crestron product developments Participate in pre-sales technical consultations and system design reviews Essential Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in AV programming with a strong focus on Crestron platforms Current Crestron certifications (DMC-T, DMC-E, or equivalent highly regarded) Expert-level proficiency in SIMPL, SIMPL, and SIMPL programming Proven experience with Crestron NVX, DM switching, and DigitalMedia technologies Strong understanding of network fundamentals, IP control protocols, and AV-over-IP Experience with third-party device integration (DSPs, video conferencing, lighting, HVAC) Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor team members Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong client-facing communication skills Full driving license and willingness to travel to project sites Desirable Skills Experience with other control platforms (Extron, AMX, QSC) Knowledge of DSP programming (QSC Q-SYS, Biamp, BSS) Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms) Understanding of Dante audio networking Project management experience What's On Offer Competitive salary package commensurate with experience Company vehicle or car allowance Ongoing professional development and certification opportunities Exposure to diverse, high-profile projects Collaborative team environment with growth opportunities Modern tools and equipment Work-life balance initiatives How to Apply For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please submit your CV along with a cover letter outlining your Crestron experience and programming achievements.
