We license lawyers and oversee service standards and conduct. This includes handling complaints about lawyers, investigating poor conduct and overseeing management of trust accounts. We are also the stewards of the public purpose and fidelity funds and administer these to support legal regulation and access to justice in Victoria. We are a modern best practice regulator, using data and insights to help identify where our actions can have the greatest impact on ensuring ethical and professional legal practice by Victorian lawyers. We are seeking an Applications Support Engineer to join our Technology & Digital Services team. The Applications Support Engineer manages and optimises the VLSBC's IT business systems, SharePoint, and Intranet, providing technical support, system enhancements, and stakeholder engagement to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement. This is getting interesting, what type of person are you looking for? We are looking for candidates with the following: Experience administering and developing SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 cloud/hybrid technologies (e.g. Power Platform, Intune, Logic Apps Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Power FX, BASH, SQL, Python or similar languages Knowledge of identity management standards and protocols (SSO, SAML, SCIM, OIDC) Understanding of ITIL practices, change management processes, and least privilege access models. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and expand IT knowledge in an operational environment That sounds like me!
