Join our team as a Casual Horse Collector, location Loganholme, perfect individuals with a passion for animals. In this role, you'll be responsible for the respectful collection of deceased horses and supporting pet logistics across our sites, ensuring dignified handling and care. As a horse collector you'll be responsible for respectfully collecting deceased horses, ensuring their dignified handling and care. Duties of a Horse Collector: Collect deceased horses from client homes with care and professionalism Navigation of daily runs with efficiency Operate cremation and ashes processing equipment Ensure the vehicle and work areas are maintained at the highest standards Strong verbal skills and ability to work with families of deceased pets About you: Have a passion for animals and comfortable providing aftercare services for pets Hold a full, unrestricted driver's licence (truck licence preferred) Hold a forklift licence Lift up to 25kgs unassisted and have ability to perform a wide variety of manual labour tasks Able to reverse a trailer - similar size to a horse float. Practical demonstration of reversing trailer may be required.
