Lean Mining Pty Ltd is a Queensland-based maintenance and labour services provider supporting mining and heavy industry clients across Australia. The company provides skilled electrical, mechanical, and reliability trades to surface and underground mining operations. We are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our maintenance team. The role supports fixed plant and mobile equipment maintenance across a range of mine sites in Queensland and New South Wales. Work rosters vary by client, typically ranging from 4 days on / 3 days off through to 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. Key responsibilities include: Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, switchgear, and instrumentation on mining and processing equipment. Diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance on conveyors, crushers, pumps, and process circuits. Inspecting, testing, and certifying electrical equipment in accordance with mining safety and statutory requirements. Performing isolation, testing, and tagging in compliance with site electrical procedures. Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams. Conducting cable terminations, motor control, and PLC-related work as required. Completing inspections, documentation, and maintenance reports accurately. Assisting with shutdowns, upgrades, and installations as scheduled. Working safely with supervisors and mechanical trades to achieve production and maintenance targets. To be successful in this role you will have: Certificate III in Electronics and Communications or equivalent trade qualification. Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain). At least three years of electrical experience in mining, processing, or heavy industrial environments. Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, variable speed drives, and motor protection. Understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 4871 standards. Current CPR/LVR certificate and Standard 11 (preferred). Current driver's licence.
