About the Position If you enjoy problem solving & working across different equipment and machinery we are interested in talking to you. We are seeking Timber Mill Operators to join our team based at our Kyogle site, where you will be involved with a range of duties including stacking, wrapping, strapping and grading of timber products, with other tasks such as moulder operators and forklift drivers available through training. We are hiring on a flexible Casual basis to cover periods of Leave and assist our team with production when required. We are paying a competitive rate of $28.01 base 25% casual loading superannuation. Please be aware that shifts start times tend to be 5:00am - 3:15pm. Alternatively, we can offer a 9am start time to help work around family life (School friendly hours). Key responsibilities include: Ongoing work with timber including grading, stacking, sorting and strapping. Ad-hoc plant duties to ensure the smooth running of our Kyogle operations. Inventory management Continually maintaining a clean and tidy work area. About You: You will have a strong commitment to safety in the workplace. Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is highly desirable. A positive attitude is essential. You must be reliable, punctual and have a focus on the quality of your work. Have demonstrated experience of successfully working in a team. We are seeking someone who is physically fit and is able to manually handle various sized timber sections.
