About the Position We are seeking an enthusiastic safety professional looking to continue to develop and grow in their career in safety. Our WHSE Coordinator/Administrator will report into our Site Manager and be responsible for supporting Narrogin Hay to effectively execute our Group WHSE Strategy and Site WHSE Plan. You will work to continuously drive a strong safety culture in our Agriculture Division. This is a Permanent Full-Time position which will support management by assisting in the delivery of WHSE initiatives and activities to help us ensure legislative compliance requirements are met. You will also be involved in supporting management with workplace inspections, incident investigations and risk mitigation. In addition, you will also perform WHSE document management and general administrative tasks to support site operations as required. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Helping to develop and update safe work method statements (SWMS) to ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner in accordance with legislation, codes of practice and relevant standards. Provide coaching to site staff and management on Pentarch WHSE tools, processes and initiatives. Utilise WHSE Software to report incidents, hazards, inspections, and manage relevant WHSE related actions. Support site leadership to apply the Pentarch Group WHSE Strategy including policies, procedures, guidelines and tools. Assisting with conducting site inductions for new employees and contractors to ensure they have a clear understanding of site-specific safety protocols and procedures. Ordering and auditing of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment. To be successful in this role you will have: A keen interest in starting or continuing a career in workplace health and safety is essential. A proven track record of success in a similar coordination / administrative role within occupational health and safety is highly favorable. Certificate IV in Workplace Health, Safety and Environment (either commenced or completed) A current First Aid, CPR and Mental Health First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). A developing knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, standards and best practice. Experience in a high risk industrial, manufacturing, mining or agricultural setting is highly advantageous Other qualifications such as ICAM, HIRAC, Internal Audit or similar are favorable.
