This is an exciting role for a highly motivated individual passionate about the sheep meat industry, adaptable and modern in their approach to agriculture, and looking for career development and progression within a supportive mixed farming enterprise. The Role Ideally, you will have strong sheep and animal health knowledge, be innovative in your thought processes, and have a strong thirst for progression. In addition to the manager and existing staff, you will assist in running this 1,600 Ha, self-replacing composite ewe flock, managing and improving pastures, and producing approximately 250 Ha of high-quality pasture seed. As an experienced farmhand, you will participate in all aspects of the cropping cycle, including ground preparation, spraying, fertiliser application, and harvesting pasture seed. Experience in basic mechanical tasks, infrastructure, and fencing maintenance would be highly valued. You will maintain our high operational standards by prioritising safety and efficiency. This position demands strict adherence to company controls, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines, ensuring we meet industry standards and promote sustainable farming practices within designated timeframes.
