About the role: The P&C Advisor will be responsible for providing first level advice and support on workplace / employee relations matters across all national client groups as well as providing support to the National P&C Team (Senior Consultants and Managers) on operational and project tasks. This is a fixed term 2 year contract. Key Responsibilities Workplace Relations Advice and Support Provide first level advice and management of workplace relations matters, including conduct issues, employee grievances, investigations, performance management Provide support to Senior P&C reps, for workplace relations case management, including preparation of discussion records Assess workplace relations risk and exposure and provide advice and appropriate identification and escalate of issues to respective Senior P&C Reps or other stakeholders Manage WH&S related matters, return to work plans, income protection and ensure the business comply with all related OHS legislation Maintain records and adhere to internal reporting requirements and systems. Work directly with client groups to understand and support on, strategy, engagement results and deliver on all P&C requirements. Provide advice relating to employment conditions, remuneration, legislation and other related matters. Influencing and negotiating with internal stakeholders. Maintain regular client groups visits, particularly to regional areas to develop relationship and collaboration. Facilitate internal training sessions or toolboxes for internal stakeholders as required. Ensure timely communication to the business around outstanding action items. Provide recommendations to improve P&C processes and procedures. Review and apply any legislative, minimum wage or Award changes, which include remuneration and benefits. Maintain current knowledge of P&C best practice and IR/ER legislation, including Modern Awards. Talent Assist with Talent and Retention initiatives, including local Early Careers and Graduate activities. Attend careers fairs and other local events to promote RSM. Conduct exit interviews Undertake talent reviews with client groups and assist Senior P&C reps. Projects Achieve P&C projects in line with P&C metrics and analytics to drive effective outcomes in line with Business and P&C strategy. Manage and assist with P&C projects as required About you: Demonstrated Experience & Attributes Relevant tertiary qualification – Business, Human Resources or Psychology. Minimum 3 years broad HR / ER case management and service delivery experience Relevant work experience in a professional or corporate environment. Effective stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to provide excellent client Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, contribute to a team, and demonstrate resilience. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and privacy, role models these behaviours and ensures all P&C related information is treated confidentially. Other The ability to travel interstate is required.
