If your sketchbook is full of dynamic poses, dramatic capes, and characters with tons of personality, then we may have your dream job! We’re looking for a talented Artist/Illustrator to join our game development team and bring our characters to life. You’ll be responsible for creating character illustrations from initial pencil concepts through to polished, full-color finals in a variety of action poses. Working closely with our Art Director and licensors, your work will support the visual identity of our games across mobile, console, and PC. This is a full-time position. It is also a hybrid Office/WFH position with 2-3 days per week in our Collins St, Melbourne office (or more if you prefer). We are not taking international applications at this time. About the role: Reporting to a Producer , your responsibilities will include: Create character illustrations from rough sketches to detailed color finals Develop expressive poses and dynamic compositions that show a character's personality Collaborate with the Art Director to refine visual style and meet project goal Incorporate feedback from internal teams and external licensors Ensure consistency in anatomy, proportion, and design across characters About you: You have a portfolio that showcases expressive characters and stylistic versatility Proficiency in traditional and digital media (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) Ability to take direction and revise work based on feedback Comfort working within established IP guidelines and visual styles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills in other areas of game dev are a bonus!
