About the Role As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith, you bring a genuine passion for coffee and great service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for: Preparing and serving food and beverages to cafe standards. Greeting and interacting with customers in a warm and professional manner. Operating the POS system and handling transactions accurately. Restocking supplies and ensuring front-of-house is always well presented. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the cafe. Handling both cash and card payments efficiently. About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following: Café all rounder experience in a fast paced environment with minimum 1 year of barista experience. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Experience with working with food safety standards. Excellent communication skills and the drive to deliver outstanding service to our customers. Ideally 1 year of food prep experience - comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen (highly advantageous).
