The candidate will bring the following to the role: You will have: • Certificate IV Civil Construction, or an equivalent qualification or considerable working experience • Proven experience in the organisation, supervision, motivation, and performance management of operational staff • Demonstrated initiative, a flexible and proactive approach and enthusiasm including a willingness to respond to an ever-changing work environment. • Traffic Control Certification in - Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans • Sound computer skills with experience in the use of email, spreadsheets, word processing and databases • Previous experience in operating and maintaining a road patching vehicle and equipment. • Proven written and oral communication skills in communicating with staff, supervisors and the general public when required. • Sound knowledge and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety and Equal Employment Opportunities principles • Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) • Class HR Licence Remuneration: base salary commencing at $76,426 gross per annum adverse working conditions allowance of $1,035 per annum 12% superannuation performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary annual award increase For further information contact: Nicole Hume on 0414 195 065.
